Pathweaver: Bardic

Bardic is born from a developer with ADHD: I love my game nights over discord, but playing every two weeks meant remembering what happens?  Is a stretch at times!  And I found if I took notes (poorly), my brain was engaged in trying to capture everything rather than being in the headspace of roleplaying.

Bardic was born to fix this.  Using Craig bot to record discord sessions, this tool will take those audio files, transcribe them, summarize all the important bits and let you output them to your preferred destination.  Current options include markdown files for obsidian or other places that use it, html, or your Kanka wiki project for your game.

Important Things To Know

This is offered as a one time pay to use tool.  You WILL need a ChatGPT api key to utilize the project.  Those costs are usually nominal compared to equivalent cloud tools and what they will charge.

You also need a way to capture audio.  This can be as simple as your phone at the table.  For Discord, I really appreciate the work Craig Bot does in capturing audio for individual speakers.
